Don't Judge Your Beginning One Someone Elses Middle

I would dare to say most people who are diagnosed with T1D leave the doctor office, or hospital, in a state of shock, overwhelmed and unprepared. It is so easy in life, especially with social media, to see others that seem to have it all figured out. I am here to tell you that type one diabetes is ever-changing, and we are ever adapting to those changes. If you are newly diagnosed, or just struggle with T1D, know you are not alone. Everyone starts somewhere. I’m 35 years into this condition and still learning and growing! The key for me has been to educate myself, learn what works and doesn’t work for me, and to find fellow diabetics Who can relate when I am having a struggle, or who can offer advice When I’m stuck. What advice would you give to someone who is newly diagnosed with T1D?
